Matt French

Director of Insurance

Matt directs WDIA’s business to meet the needs of dentists across Washington state. He oversees WDIA team operations to ensure quality coverage for our clients.

Education is an area where Matt excels. He teaches dentists about insurance and how to decern which products will best protect their livelihoods, their businesses, and their families.

Matt graduated from Western Washington University with a Bachelor of Arts in Interpersonal Communication. His ability to cleanly, clearly, and concisely explain the complexities of insurance coverage make him an asset to the business of dentistry.

What Matt enjoys most about working with dentists is the culture of comradery. Dentists look out for each other, and Matt likes to look out for dentists.

A family man, Matt loves playing with his kids and embarking on home improvement projects. When he gets a little time to himself, he restores classic muscle cars. His dream ride is a 1965 AC Shelby Cobra.

Kerri Seims

Associate Director of Insurance

Kerri focuses on serving WDIA clients, one-on-one and providing education. She lectures and presents at WSDA events, dental study clubs, and provides C.E. trainings to dental care teams.

Dentists often remark that they appreciate Kerri’s engaging personality. She is adept at auditing existing insurance plans, identifying quality coverage, and designing insurance packages that meet the subjective needs of each dentist we serve.

Kerri earned her Bachelor of Arts in Speech Pathology / Audiology with a minor in Psychology from Western Washington University.

Bringing peace of mind to her clients is deeply fulfilling for Kerri. Her father was a dentist. She understands first-hand the nuanced business aspects of the dental profession.

Throughout her college years, Kerri played competitive soccer for the WWU Vikings. These days, she is a dedicated Sounders fan.

Emily Wilkinson, MBA

Assistant Director of Insurance

Emily works with you to help you find insurance coverage to fit your needs. Her focus is on life and disability insurance policies for dentists.

To her role, Emily brings a background in group medical insurance. Her depth of knowledge can be applied to help you bundle policies and secure quality coverage at competitive prices.

Emily earned her MBA from Seattle University and a Bachelor of Arts in Literature from Western Washington University.

At WDIA Emily is known for her ability to collaborate with our team to develop resourceful solutions for dentists with unique needs.

When she’s not working, Emily is caring for her horses. She and her family have adopted two horses from the U.S. Bureau of Land Managements.

Megan French

Professional Liability & Commercial Lines Senior Specialist

Megan oversees team operations for WDIA. With 20+ years of experience, Megan is an expert at helping dentists protect their livelihoods. She works with our brokers to ensure appropriate coverage for professional liability and business ownership.

Megan earned a Bachelor of Arts in English from Western Washington University, and a Master’s in Museology from the University of Washington.

Fun fact: Megan and her husband spent three months backpacking in the U.K. and Italy before they were married.

Libby McCurry

Medical Insurance Specialist

Group medical insurance policies are ever-changing. It really helps to have an advocate on your side when making policy decisions that affect your dental care team.

This is where Libby comes in. Libby works with dental practice owners to find quality, group medical insurance policies. She is an expert at understanding the nuances of medical coverage and finding policies that fit the needs of you and your team.

Libby earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Western Washington University.

Outside of the office, Libby enjoys knitting while she cheers on the Seattle Seahawks.

Sienna Padilla

Professional Liability & Commercial Lines Specialist

Sienna is our production assistant who focuses on professional liability and practice owners’ insurance. Sienna uses her knowledge of insurance policies to help you find quality, affordable insurance coverage.

Sienna is most fulfilled by her work when she partners with a dentist to find policies that fit their unique needs. Sienna earned her degree in Environmental Science from Bellevue College.

Originally from New Mexico, Sienna loves spending time in the desert. Next, she plans to hike the Rim Trail of the Grand Canyon.

Melissa Phillips

Production Coordinator

Melissa works with dentists to find quality disability and life insurance coverage. Melissa has a background in dental care. She worked in a private practice before joining the WDIA team. Her understanding of the subjective insurance needs of dentists adds value to her work.

Melissa earned her bachelor’s degree from The Evergreen State College and her dental assisting certificate from South Puget Sound Community College.

When it’s vacation time, Melissa heads to tropical locales. Her favorite vacation spots are in Hawai’i.

Rachael Uyeno

Production Assistant

Rachael is an insurance generalist who works across categories of insurance to support our brokers as they procure policies for you.

Rachael earned her Bachelor of Arts in Theater and Master of Fine Arts in Western Performance from the University of Hawai’i at Mānoa.

Outside of the office, Rachael is involved in theatre as an actor, instructor, and fight choreographer.

Rita Bergk

Administrative Coordinator

Rita is WDIA’s administrative coordinator who keeps our workflow in motion while insurance specialists focus on your needs.

Rita has worked in several industries throughout her career, and each role has one thing in common: organization. Rita’s ability to attend to the fine details of effective business administration make her a valuable member of our team. Away from work, Rita enjoys sailing and swimming.
